Jessica Sumbera Vice President Student Life
My names Jessica Im a 4th year student from Fort Mcmurray. Im currently pursuing a double degree in psychology and international management. I want to run for VP student life because the university experience isnt always an easy one. My experience here has helped me step out of my comfort zone with experiences like taking an internship in India, where I learned about navigating disputes and different social issues primarily gender based violence against women. I love travelling to new countries and learning about culture, from food, to practices and celebrations, symbolism and music.

o Accessibility to resources, informing students about what SU is capable of and help lead changing perspectives.
- Increase Exposure
o Raise awareness on funding for clubs and student-based initiatives.

o Fostering connection to workforce and building soft skills so students can succeed in their professional and personal connections.
- Authenticity
o Having regular conversations and execution of initiatives that I am capable of rather than promoting something that is unlikely to happen.I49
