Hi, my name is Ilham Rawji! I'm a 4th-year Computer Science student with a passion for community engagement. I currently serve as one of six Arts and Science representatives, a Senior Resident in University Hall, and the Community Involvement Chair for the Organization of Residence Students (ORS). Advocacy, especially for mental health, is something close to my heart—I believe in creating spaces where people feel heard and supported.
When I’m not coding or involved in student leadership, you’ll likely find me lost in a book, writing, or passionately cheering on my favorite hockey team.

What do you know about the position you are running for?

What are some of the initiatives you would like to implement if you are elected?

My platform is centered on advocating for academic resources and ensuring that students not only know about them but can easily access and benefit from them. Academics and mental health go hand in hand, and it’s essential that we support both. I want to bring attention to this connection and push for initiatives that help students thrive holistically.

Student excellence depends on having strong, reliable resources, and I am committed to preserving and fortifying the academic support systems we have on campus. It’s not just about keeping them—it’s about making sure they are concrete, effective, and truly meeting the needs of students. But it doesn’t stop there—if there are gaps in resources, we will work to identify them and create new solutions to ensure students have the support they need to succeed.
