Niosha Attarifard Health Science Representative

I am Niosha Attarifard, a fourth year Public Health Student from Abu Dhabi, UAE. I’m passionate about building a stronger & more connected community here at UofL. Like many of you, I’ve found a real home here & I’m eager to give back. I’m a climber, & I love it not just for the physical challenge, but also because it teaches me problem solving & provides a fantastic way to connect with friends. This passion for community engagement is something I take seriously & it’s reflected in my current role as a climbing coach. Coaching allows me to contribute directly to the growth & well-being of others, & its a skill set I’m excited to bring to this position. When I’m not at the wall, you can find me with friends, exploring the beautiful outdoors of Lethbridge. Coming from a bigger city, I’ve truly come to appreciate the kindness & close-knit feels of the community here, both within the university and beyond. It’s the sense of belonging that I want to foster for all students.
