Positions


All positions run from May 1st, 2026 until April 31st, 2027. All candidates must be registered undergraduate University of Lethbridge students. Please download our Election Booklet for detailed information.

Nominations Open: Monday, January 30, 2026, at 8:30 am
Nominations Close: Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 3:00 pm
Candidate Orientation: Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 5:00 pm
Campaigning Period Begins: Sunday, February 13, 2026, at 8:30 am
Executive Council Town Hall: Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 12:00 pm - Markin Hall
General Assembly Town Hall: Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 12:00 pm - Markin Hall
Executive Council Debate: Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 12:00 pm - Markin Hall
Campaigning Period Ends: Monday, February 27, 2026, at 9:00 am
Voting Opens: Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 9:00 am
Voting Closes: Friday, March 6, 2026, at 3:00 pm

You can nominate yourself at our nominations portal, here.

 

Your nomination is NOT VALID unless you (or an approved delegate) attend the orientation session.

If you cannot attend the orientation, you must notify the Chief Returning Officer in writing at least 48 hours before the session.

To be nominated as a candidate, you must:

• Be a registered undergraduate student at the University of Lethbridge

• Be in good academic and financial standing as a ULSU member

• Meet any additional eligibility requirements for your specific position (see Election Package)

• Attend the mandatory orientation session (or receive CRO approval for absence)

• Comply with all ULSU legislation and election regulations

Note: You may only be nominated for ONE position per election.
