Question 1 - UPass Program Continuation:
Do you support the continuation of the universal bus pass (UPass)
program, with the following fee schedule*, plus an applicable service
fee, to be applied to each undergraduate student enrolled in at least
one for-credit Lethbridge course on a per semester basis?
Yes - 1,240 votes - 72.9%
No - 462 votes - 27.1%
Question 2 - ULSU Operating Fee:
Do you authorize the University of Lethbridge Students' Union to
increase the Operations Fee from $37.17 to $42.17 per semester for
full-time students, and from $18.68 to $23.68 per semester for
part-time students, effective May 1, 2026?
No - 885 votes - 52.0%
Yes - 817 votes - 48.0%
Question 3 - ULSU FLARE: Levy Implementation:
Effective May 1, 2026, do you support FLARE implementing a student
levy of $0.75 per semester assessed to both full-time and part-time
undergraduate students?
Yes - 1,060 votes - 62.3%
No - 642 votes - 37.7%
Question 4 - ULSU FLARE: CPI Authorization:
For the continued sustainability of FLARE, do you authorize the
University of Lethbridge Students' Union to tie the FLARE levy it
collects to the Consumer Price Index (CPI), as determined by Statistics
Canada, using 2025 as the base year, in order to account for annual
inflation or deflation?
Yes - 951 votes - 55.9%
No - 751 votes - 44.1%
Question 5 - ULSU WUSC: Levy Increase:
Are you in favour of an increase from $2.00 to $4.00 per student each
semester to help sponsor the University of Lethbridge Student Refugee
Program, through the World University Service of Canada? This program
enables a qualified United Nations refugee to resettle and study at the
University of Lethbridge.
Yes - 1,092 votes - 64.2%
No - 610 votes - 35.8%
Question 6 - ULSU WUSC: CPI Authorization:
For the continued sustainability of the World University Service of
Canada, do you authorize the University of Lethbridge Students' Union
to tie the WUSC levy it collects to the Consumer Price Index (CPI), as
determined by Statistics Canada, using 2027 as the base year, in order
to account for annual inflation or deflation?
Yes - 1,023 votes - 60.1%
No - 679 votes - 39.9%
